NoRTH Introduces New Mid-Day Menu and Mid-Week Drink Specials
NoRTH Modern Cuisine has introduced a new mid-day menu as well as mid-week drink specials. Leawood's hippest new Italian trattoria added a new specially-priced mid-day menu that will run Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
The new mid-day menu includes the ever popular Zucca Chips ($3); Crisp Calamari ($5); Chopped Chicken Salad ($5); Bruschetta ($5); Trio of Spreads which include eggplant, hummus, pesto goat cheese and garlic bread ($5); Baby Greens ($5); Margherita Pizza ($6); Fennel Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza ($6); Wild Mushroom Pizza ($6); and Prosciutto, Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza ($6).
NoRTH also has a mid-week drink menu for Wednesdays only. Half-priced drinks are offered on a number of NoRTH's new mixology drinks made with real fruits and vegetables as well as beer and wine. The new signature cocktails are only $5 during happy hour and include:
• Sangria Rosso - Primitivo, Cassis, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries
• Succo di Bacca - 10 Cane Rum, fresh strawberries, lemon juice, fennel syrup topped with Moscato d'Asti;
• Valente is a combination of Jim Beam, a red bell pepper, basil, lemon juice and honey
• Botanical - Beefeater Gin, tonic, cucumber and fresh tarragon • il bacio - Belvedere Vodka, soda water, raspberries and rosemary sprig
• Blackberry Fix - Cruzan Light Rum, smashed blackberries over crushed ice NoRTH's specialty drink, Frizzante, is a flute of Prosecco Sparkling with fresh fruit puree. It comes in three flavors, Pesca-White Peach, Bacce-Berry and Frutto della Passione-Passion Fruit and is just $4 each during half-priced Wednesdays.
Well drinks are $4 each and draft and bottled beers are $2.50. All wines by the glass, terzo and bottle are 50 percent off.
NoRTH opened in Leawood at the One Nineteen shopping center on the southeast corner of 119th and Roe in July 2008. NoRTH is part of the Scottsdale-based Fox Restaurant Concepts, which operates several restaurant brands throughout the Southwest, including five successful NoRTH restaurants in Phoenix, Tucson, Denver and Austin.
